Hey guys. I wasnt sure if i should post this or not, but some people might not know about airsoft. Okay, Well if you need or want really great and realistic looking guns, but dont want to break the bank on Real guns, or you cant buy a certain type of gun because your not in the army of a police officer(basically any fully automatic weaponry) Then airsoft weapons are the way to go. The automatic electric guns (AEG's) are the most detailed and realistic. A Great site that has a huge collection of AEG's is www.redwolfairsoft.com I am NOT spamming for that site, it just has an excelent selection and you should check it out, or maybe theres a store that sells guns near you. Well im out. Happy Shooting!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yes, they are realistic. Law enforcement officers can not tell the difference at 10+ feet. If you are going to use these in a movie, use your head. Best bet is not to go waving these around in public.

Yes... i know that first hand. Because I actually play airsoft. I was playing with a few friends in street at around midnight, one of my neighbors called the cops. Wasnt to fun being ordered to the ground by a cop with his weapon drawn. BE CAREFUL.

Ah, the most vital ingredient to a new filmakers arsenal- a realistic looking gun...

and how many times have we heard this one:

I was playing with a few friends in street at around midnight, one of my neighbors called the cops.

airsoft guns arent insurance friendly, also if they are over a certain PSI are classified as a firearm and therefore require a armourer down on set,

rubber guns on the other hand, gratuitis plug

ahem, a neighbor at location shoot called the cops because she saw some people trying to "break in" a truck parked in the street. (It was us, and it was our production truck). Now if we had fake guns, no doubt the SWAT team would have showed up.

This is a story off a friend of mine. Someone reported to the police that suspicious men had entered a house and that they thought they were armed. About 10 mins later 3 police cars and an armed response unit pull up outside the house and break the door down. They run inside and are confronted with 4 men dressed in SWAT type gear coming to see what has happened to the door in the following chaos all 4 were arrested dispite repeated claims that they were only actors not terrorists. They were all released without charge.

Did they get their door replaced or have to shell out for it themselves?
